Vol. 1 No. 1 (2025): ASEAN Journal of Business and Digital Economy (AJBDE)

The ASEAN Journal of Business and Digital Economy (AJBDE) is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal committed to publishing high-quality and impactful research in the areas of business, economics, and digital transformation. With a strong focus on ASEAN economic integration, the journal serves as a strategic platform to strengthen academic cooperation and knowledge exchange between Indonesia, Malaysia, and Uzbekistan. AJBDE is founded through a trilateral academic collaboration established by formal Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) on science and education between Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya (UM Surabaya) in Indonesia, the Centre for Graduate Studies at Universiti Selangor (UNISEL) in Malaysia, and the Samarkand branch of Tashkent State University of Economics in Uzbekistan. This partnership aims to promote interdisciplinary research, encourage regional dialogue, and contribute to the development of innovative business and economic practices across ASEAN and Central Asia. The journal welcomes original research articles, case studies, conceptual papers, and reviews that address a wide range of themes including business management, digital economy, fintech, sustainable development, entrepreneurship, smart city innovations, economic governance, and cross-border trade. While the journal is rooted in ASEAN regional interests, it maintains an inclusive international outlook and invites submissions from scholars, researchers, and professors affiliated with other universities and institutions around the world, provided their work aligns with the journal's thematic scope.
